Start map modification

This map is a demo of the Geofabrik WMS service. It is limited in size and speed. As a customer you can request maps of any desired size.

Geofabrik WMS-Server

The main advantage of the WMS server over the tile counterpart is the greater flexibility in selecting details to be shown as well as being able to change projection on the fly. Each map image will be rendered separately with the given parameters.

Try it out by clicking 'start map modification' and (de)selecting the checkboxes or choosing a different projection from the dropdown.

Please note that we display high detail initially in higher zoom levels than usual, in order to keep this service fast.

Usually within 5 minutes of changes of openstreetmap.org.

Image formats:

PNG Truecolor (24 Bit), PNG Palette (8 Bit), JPG. All images are created directly from vector data (no reprojected raster data).

Projections:

EPSG:4326, Gauss-Kruger zone 2-5, UTM 32 and 33, spherical Mercator

WMS usage requires a flat rate access key. Please contact us for an offer or test key.
